You are a constable with the Royal Homeland Constabulary in the city of Flint. The RHC is Risuri, but you need not be. The RHC recruits all kinds with all manner of backgrounds.
You have been assigned to provide security for the launch of the Coaltongue by King Aodhan, both screening the initial crowds and providing security aboard the ship. The launch will be attended by august personages from all the great nations of Lanjyr and your boss, Assistant Chief Inspector Stover Delft, is concerned about possibly disruptions from all sorts:
Of course, Delft may just be paranoid- he hasn't been the same since that incident with the doppelganger, or so say office rumours. The new battleship will probably be launched without any issue.
